The Actor's Workout is an ongoing weekly acting class in Cascais designed to keep performers creatively active while helping newcomers discover the fundamentals of acting in a supportive and welcoming environment. Each session includes a combination of exercises and practical training from various acting techniques.

Julia Monteon
Julia Monteon is an actress, writer, producer, and acting coach with international training and professional experience in theatre, film, and television.
She studied at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film and Television and later continued her training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
With more than 15 years of coaching experience, Julia has developed her own approach that combines Hollywood acting techniques with international training methods focused on authenticity, emotional truth, confidence, and presence.

Are the classes taught in English?
Yes. Most classes are conducted in English and welcome both native and non-native speakers. We also occasionally offer special classes in Ukrainian—please check the schedule for upcoming dates.
Are these classes only for adults?
The Actor's Workout is currently designed for adults and older teens (16+).
Can professional actors join?
Absolutely. Many exercises can be adapted for working actors looking to stay sharp between auditions and projects.
